Craven Poultry Keepers Club

PostDateIcon Wed, 07/10/2009 - 18:43 | PostAuthorIcon Julian

I attended the first meeting of The Craven Poultry Club (www.cravenpoultrykeepersclub.co.uk) in Silsden last night, it was a very enjoyable night with chicken guru and vice president of the Poultry Club of Great Britain (www.poultryclub.org) Edward Boothman giving us a very interesting talk about the importance of Silsden in poultry breeding.  Mr Boothman gave us a great talk and then took questions from the very enthusiastic audience about all things chicken.  Credit has to goto the committee of The Craven Poultry Keepers Club for the amount of people that attended the first meeting, the room was packed.  Meetings are scheduled for the next few months with an exciting itinerary planned, great talk was made of "The Guineas", the Eggstravanganza Open Egg Show on Sunday 13th June at Skipton Town Hall.
